Heartbreaking and tear jerking to the fullest !!!

I cried throughout the entire series..

SPOILER:

..and in the end when Miszusu died, OMG, i nearly lost consciousness !!

SPOILER ENDS.

Who felt the same way ?

It was a greatand well made anime, i agree, but kinda too depressing and sad.
The whole "You can't escape your fate" thingy was very very disturbing and left me baffled in the end !

reply

The ending was the saddest part.

I don't think the song "Aozora" helped either; I blubber everytime I hear that song since I got it after watching Air for the first time. I've seen this anime so many times before it was dubbed here in America, and now I own it (which of course makes me happy). But anyways, no matter how many times I watch Air, I always break out in tears. I've learned from experience: if it makes you cry more than once, it's a darn good movie/series.

Oh tell me about it.

watch 1 Litre of Tears (series)

its even 20 times sadder then Air :P

it realy is, i first thought air and clannad where the saddest things ever untill i saw 1 Litre of Tears. extremely dramatic and wonderfull series too : )

I felt nothing but frustration and confusion. And Haruko's speech made me laugh for some reason, especially in the dubbed version.

I watched this series after the other two Key series Clannad and Kanon. Both of them had me to tears several times. So my expections were quite high with this one. Sadly, I felt completely let down and couldn't care for the characters the slightest bit. This one was completely emotionless for me - I guess, I shouldn't have picked it up right after Kanon, which was miles ahead in the emotion department...
