Was the poop machine-gun a parady of another film?

In one of the toilet scenes, CJ7 pooped all over Dicky machine-gun style, and Dicky pretended to be hit by real bullets and die in agony. Obviously the scene played for laughs, but what was it trying to parody? Was it some well-known gangster film? Or was it just a generic send-up of gangster films in general? I know in other scenes there were parodies of "Shoalin Soccer" and "Kung Fu Hustle". Was the pooping scene some kind of special parody too?
