The end (spoilers obvious because the title says The END)

When the creatures come from the ship the one leading the pack looks like CJ7. Now, the rest of them all have very different facial markings and colors differentiating them from the others. So are we to assume that CJ7 itself returned or that it was simply a lookalike that happened to lead them?

Also I thoroughly enjoy that they took the time to make them different. Most people make the aliens in their films look the same and thereby more of a movie creation and less like an actual species.

The short one's gawking at me and the tall one's being very droll.

CJ7 is clearly a Cylon.

i like to think that it was cj7 returning. makes a happier ending for me.

i dont think its cj7 cause if you watch the "instructions" when "he" is locked in the closet, it shows that after cj7 repairs something its dealie becomes red then it becomes the toy (they show it transforming, i think it would be a nice key chain) but anyways then the hand puts a new circle dealie and its revived, so i think thats the only way for cj7 to come back to life

a lot of kids will watch this movie and some will, like me, not be sure about the ending ... as sais before, the "instruction" show that the "hands" put a new power cell in the CJ7 and it works again, but in the ending, the boy still has the dead CJ7 around the neck and a similar one arrives so it's not the same... so wtf?
did Stephen Chow give any explanation?
