Why Lou Reed??

I mean, the guy's got talent and voice, but not for this kind of work! And definitely not for this kind of over-the-top evil character! I understand they couldn't get David Bowie to return for the last two movies(I would have been surprised if he had), but they could have gotten someone who at least sounded SIMILAR, couldn't they?? Even a no-name nobody who could swing an evil english accent?? Or even someone that sounded at least a bit evil?? I cringed everytime Reed had a line, he sounded so bored and flat, as if he just didn't want to be doing the work at all!
