Giant ant
When Arthur's mother saw a giant ant, it had a pink spot on its head,
and it explained, that it was she who dropped something on it. She
then smeared herself with that pink something, and asked for "no hard
feelings". What was that?
Let me try to answer this question as best I can.
That goes back to an incident that took place about 15 minutes into the 2nd film. Arthur's mother was polishing her nails when she saw an ant on her dress. She didn't want Arthur's dad to kill the ant so she shooed the ant away using the fingernail polisher. This same exact ant is the ant that grew in the 3rd film. With that, I'd guess it's some kind of fingernail polish. Though I can't really say for a fact, I am definitely pretty sure that it's some kind of makeup, whether polish or something else.
