French release date

Afterwards will be out in France on Oct 1st 2008 according to this french movie website http://www.allocine.fr/film/fichefilm_gen_cfilm=127942.html

why does it take so long to release a movie!!??? they shot the movie 10 months ago and they will probably release it in 2008 summer(n.america )sorry but no one cares whether it is released in tiny france!!!

Well its a French produced movie with a French director, French production crew and a French leading actor based on a French novel so the movie will be most likely released in France and the French parts of Canada BEFORE the U.S. Bare in mind that this is an indie film not a blockbuster so it might not get released at all in N. America. All that is known so far is that it is going to be a major release in France because of all the French elements involved.

...and what does France being "tiny" have anything to do with it?? (i'm not French btw)

tiny france and its cinema industry. french movies suck!! They are sooooooooo boring!!!

uuummmmm, France has 65 million people and is the world's 7th largest national economy. Not exactly tiny. Would you be able to find it on a world map? Probably not.

i guess that's the kind of attitude that gives Americans a bad wrap...like their Movie industry is the only one that matters...my daughter plays Nathan's daughter Tracy in the film, and i must say i'm very anxious to see the movie...saw some excerpts during an adr session and the film looks spectacular. Mark Bing-Lee the dp is a genius I think...can't wait to see it.

USA controls %70 of the global entertainment indrustry!!! european movies bore us and we don't care!!!! USA!!! USA!!! USA!!! french movies are sick!!!

How awesome that your daughter is in this movie! ,at least you have seen a few shots the rest of us will have to wait months for the movie to come out. I really hope this movie is a success especially for Romain Duris and Evangeline Lilly because it is his first english speaking role and her first major feature film gig.

Just seen the profile page and it looks like the release date has been changed to 10th Decemeber 2008.
