the grandfather

rosie killed him right? but was it out of cold blood or did he want her to kill him? i mean his eyes were open when they found him, so he must have been awake when she was killing him, and he would have screamed in pain or something. i dont get the whole situation. can someone explain?

The grandfather said that he wanted to die and Rosie did it for him so he'd be happy. She didn't do it out of cold blood. She loved her grandfather. Plus, she was only five.

but he was awake? his eyes were open!! he wouldnt be able to withstand that pain so he would have screamed or something and she would have stopped. its really confusing me

Thats what i was wondering, because a normal human reflex is to fight back? .. plus how could a small girl put that much pressure on a knife?

oooooh maybe if he was drugged up...
yeah i understand all of it like he wanted to die so she killed him, but i mean human instinct to that intensity of pain would be to fight back. he wouldnt just lie there while a 4 year old cut his throat without knowing what she was doing. she couild have been hacking away for minutes.
