Hey, how was the show?

Hi there!

Sorry, I was extremely busy last weeks, and didn't know where to put this.
It was just AMAZING! Everything was one big adventure, and I loved it all. The boat-trip was not that bad, took a long time to get there, but I didn't get sick. So the beginning was already positive.
I went to 3 shows, and it was just so entertaining. I saw Craig playing Joseph, and he played a funny Joseph, which suited him very well. Chris B. played Benjamin twice, he danced great, and was so elegant. But I liked him even better as Joseph, he played him different than Craig. Chris was more vulnerable and he has the most pleasant singing-voice. A bit soft, but beautiful. To be honest I think I prefered him a little bit more than Craig. He was so much better than in ADWD! And he plays the narrator as well, so if anyone is the allround performer it's Chris Barton. ADWD did him no justice at all. I read other people already thought so, but now I've seen it for myself, and I have to agree.

And now Keith Jack. Well, he was absolutely GREAT! His voice of course powerfull, his diction was good, he brought light and shadow in the songs. And he can act and dance as well. If you ever going to see him in that part, you be surprised! He made that part his own, he acts every scene with his face and his body. He uses so much expressions with his face, it was a joy to watch. And he danced and swinged, I was so surprised. I hoped he was good, but he was better than I thought he would be. Thinking that he has little theatre-experience he does a great job. Let nobody say that he can't act or dance anymore.

And, I met him!! And I met Chris too!!
They were so lovely, it was just amazing. No other words for it. They took all the time to have a chat with me. All I can tell is that they are total sweethearts, both of them. Chris is so much more handsome 'for real', and very humble and lovely to talk to. And Keith was much taller than I expected and a little more 'mature', then the image we have from tv. But so relaxed and so easy to talk to. Really it was an unforgettable experience!

I am so glad I did go to England, I haven't regretted it, and I would do it all over again.

Wow it sounds like you had a fantastic time!! I'm so happy for you that you not only got to see Keith but you met him as well how did you get to meet them? Did they come outside the theatre afterwards?

I'm glad Craig did a good job as Joseph because i liked him on ADWD. I must admit i didn't really know what to think about Chris B, sometimes i thought he was really good but i still couldn't see him playing the part of Joseph but sounds like he's done a good job at it, so i'm pleased for him. It was probably because i was a big Lee fan from the start and thought that he would make such a fantastic Joseph, that i couldn't see many of the others playing it as well as i thought Lee could.

So let me get this straight, Craig plays Joseph, Chris can play Joseph, Benjamin and the Narrator and Keith plays the narrator? is that right?

I'm really glad that you had a great time and that your journey was good, and that you finally got to meet Keith! (and the others)

Yes, Craig plays Joseph, Chris plays Joseph, Benjamin or narrator. And Keith narrator! And they all did a great job. Keith was a real star in that part, singing, acting and dancing fantastic, and I don't say this because I like him so much. He got the loudest cheers after every show!
And Chris was a real surprise. I didn't know what to think of him either during ADWD. But he is a true allround performer!

I met Chris and Keith before the show. I was well on time, and I first met Chris on his way to the stage-door. We talked for a while, and when he went inside he said he was going to call for Keith, and so he did. After a little while Keith came outside. And we met and talked for a while. He wasn't in a hurry at all. They are two very lovely guys!

They go outside after the shows, for signing and pictures.
After the 3rd show, that saturday-night, I thought of trying to meet Craig as well. But the weather was awfull, pouring rain, so I didn't try anymore.
