This is going to be a HUGE Hit

After I drop the DVD in a garbage can from a 30 story building. Could there be worst actors? Mario LOpez + Melissa Joan Hart= straight to DvD. Hopefully I'm wrong because I would like to see Joan Hart's career get a life boost.

reply

Well, it isn't going to be straight to DVD. It will be shown on ABC Family during December 2007 as part of the 25 Days of Christmas.

Made for tv movie = cheesy goodness! I love these movies! You can never expect too much but they always entertain.

To me it looks stupid we're supposed to believe that someone who is held hostage would fall in love with the person holding them hostage?

reply

It's called Stockholm Syndrome, and it's actually a documented psychological phenomenon: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stockholm_Syndrome.

reply

I am familiar with Stockholm Syndrome. The movie still seemed far fetched and I doubt the people who made the movie had Stockholm Syndrome in mind.

Completely agree with you there... I mean come on anyway... if you wanna bash on the whole believability factor then most Christmas movies are pretty high on the BS meter especially with the whole Santa thing.

reply

if it was SO bad, then why was it the most sucessful movie on abc family? it got great reviews & it was rated one of the top christmas tv programs.

i hope you aren't a critic because you SUCK at it :)

go get a life.

reply

Because it was ABC Family that's why. Look, I like this movie a lot more than I should, but if it was so wonderful it would've been in theaters. Please don't bash me in retaliation, I'm just telling it like it is. I'd buy a DVD for like five bucks, but it's not some classic movie.

Why settle with words what you can settle with a flamethrower?

reply

It was probably successful because people probably just went on ahead and watched it anyway. I have no idea but the movie still looked stupid and what I did see of it was not entertaining.

reply

Haha! Yep, this movie is a real stinker. So yes, the garbage can is indeed where it belongs.

This movie was made to entertain the 'tweens. I'd say the average age of those posting here are 11-14. They're not very discriminating, are addicted to fairy tale romances, and only seek out actors who are CUTE, talent isn't a necessity.
