I'm really sad that Cashmere Mafia has been cancelled. :'(
I have bought the 7 episodes that was finished, but I still want more! So it would be nice if there might be some hope...

There have been television shows that have been picked up after cancellation on another network, but considering all the actors moved onto other projects, Lucy Liu is now on Dirty Sexy Money, and Bonnie Sommerville has done 3 movies, and Peter Hermann has been popping up on Law and Order more frequently. I don't think this show will be coming back just like Lipstick Jungle won't be coming back either. I think people still want the actual Sex and the City not sub par knock offs. At least from what I've read on other message boards.

shareDirty Sexy Money was here on television, 2 seasons and now they are gonna show Cashmere Mafia and the second season of Lipstick Jungle. Liu played a role in DSM, but it was not a leading role and she was only in the second season, wich is also the last, if I'm correct.
And now I find out Cashmere Mafia also ends after only one season, you almost wonder if you should watch it then. But I'm curious and it's after LJ, so I'm watching that channel anyway, might as well give it a try. I hope there´s a real mafia in it, but probebly not, lol, I haven´t read that much about the show yet, so I´m very curious, the ratings are oké, not real high, but that´s only for the really good shows, like Dexter, Six Feet Under (finished), Nip/Tuck, True Blood, The Shield, The Soprano's (finished) and so on.
But I also love these ´womenshows´ like Desperate Housewives, Grey´s Anatomy, The L/Word etc. etc.
I love to watch television and have seen all the good shows, well mostly anyway and those that don´t come this way (Holland), I try to get through downloadsites, 'cause Dexter and True Blood aren't shown here yet, but ofcause they will, obviously, both were nominated for some Golden Globe and Anna Paquin won for her rol as Sookie in TB.
I will let you'll know what I thought about the first episode and try to compare it to it's peers.
