Decent Horror Film - 6/10 Honest Rating

Most horror films today aren't that great.
This film was good. Had all the elements that make a decent horror film.
The story did seem a bit rushed in parts, however the first one had scenes that seemed rather drawn out.
It has what could be described as a "Supervillain" battle at the end. Quite enjoyed that. I haven't played the game,
nor do I plan to. This movie as a standalone horror film, achieves what it set out to do: to tell a horror story. The visuals along with the story ideas are very effective. 6/10

All respect to your rating, but it's anything but a "standalone horror film". Films like Drag Me to Hell are standalone horror films.

This is very much a sequel, heavily reliant on the hope that its target audience would be those who watched the previous film (with the extra incentive that those people are familiar with the games).
