?? re: Woman singing 'Oh Susanna'- * Warning! Contains spoilers!*

**Warning, this post contains spoilers!**

I finally saw this last night. My Mom saw it awhile back, after it first was on the Hallmark channel. She loved it and had been watching for it to come on again. I think it's been on a few times, but I finally caught it and I LOVED IT! I cried a lot, though... Guess that's good every once in awhile, though... especially when it ends like it did... although I would have liked to have seen them adopt the little girl.

However, I had a question regarding the scene where Calli was in transit to the operating room. All her "buddies" were standing in the hallway telling her they were praying for and pulling for her, etc. and she saw this younger woman singing "Oh Susanna" which is the song she sang, and the little girl sang, throughout the movie. I might have missed something, but was that woman in any other scene in the movie prior to that scene? And could that have been an apparition of the woman's heart she was receiving who had just died? Just curious.... As I said, I could've missed a scene or something (don't really think I was away long enough at any point to miss anything, but guess it could've happened). I just didn't remember seeing her before or after that scene and the song was significant. Thanks in advance for not calling me an idiot if this is a dumb question. HA!

It was her mother--remember her sang the song to her when she was a child & she was evidently thinking of her mother while being taken to OR
