He also succeeded in turning his intended artistic vision of the show's adaption into reality, so I see the film as an artistic success
by that definitions. literally EVERYTHING ius a success. tranformers is an artistic success, howard the duck,
It succeeded in communicating a powerful message on culture, philosophy and spirituality to its audience.
no the TV show did all that. with 3 dimensional characters, 4 very distinct cultures and their interactions in a fantastical world that had surprising horrows
the movie was 2d, 2d cahracters, 2d bad guys and "teams", 2d philosophy
As for the film being reviled by fans, that is actually false.
so say 1 in 1 million loved it and thought it was great, then it isnt reviled?
conversely, if 1 in 1 million hate a film, and the other 999 999 love it, then you would also so "that is false that the film is lvoed by fans, i hate it!"
accept its adaption for exploring something fresh outside of the show's content, which is my definition of an excellent adaption
Actually no it isnt... at all....... the definition of an excellent adaptation, like game of thrones, LOTR and harry potter showed, is stay true to the original characters and their traits, story and general feel of the origional source... there is a reason fans want their origional adapted.. they want to see their favourite characters in a different medium. by definition if they are massively changed, they are no longer the same characters.
please stop talking. you are an idiot...
There are also fans (like me) who thought season 1 of the film is better than all 3 seasons of the show. Yes indeed. ^_^
you can think that poop and pee taste delicious. that doesnt make it true. avatar the show ahs a 9.2 on imdb that is remarkably high and unheard of. you are either bat crap crazy or an idiot
