Poor Dickens

As a kid I could deal with the cartoon christmas carols, remakes, and even ABC's family shows milking the story for god knows how long. But a Valentine spin, give me a break. I am not sure what bugs me more, the lack of creative idea's on the part of the writers. Or if it is just the butchering of another classic novel for the sake of high ratings.
