Kamen Rider Dragon Knight video game IN THE WORKS!

4Kids Entertainment International inks further licensing deals for its Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise in Italy. New Italian Yu-Gi-Oh licensees include, Linea D (T-shirts, sweatshirts, underwear, jeans, towels, jackets and shoes) and Giochi Preziosi (back-to-school, stationery). This fall 2009 will see a new toy line released by Upper Deck, which will feature action figures, wrist card holders and Duel Runners. Yu-Gi-Oh! GX season 3 continues to air Saturday mornings on Mediaset's Italia 1, which has also acquired the first season of the new Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's series.

Also leading into Licensing International Expo 2009, Adness Entertainment partners with Namco Bandai Games to develop video games based on the live-action Kamen Rider Dragon Knight TV series. Namco Bandai Games, which is also the Master Toy Licensee for the property, will create Kamen Rider Dragon Knight games for handheld and console platforms, which will be published throughout North and South America by its subsidiary company, D3Publisher. The video games are set to debut in retail stores this November 2009. Produced and distributed by Adness Entertainment, Kamen Rider Dragon Knight currently airs in the US Saturday mornings on TheCW4Kids. The series is scheduled to air in Europe and Latin American beginning this fall. The series is based on based on the original Japanese series, Kamen Rider Ryuki, produced by Toei Company.

According to GameFly, the Kamen Rider Dragon Knight game will be available for the Wii and Nintendo DS and both will be released on November 12, 2009.

FIRST THOUGHTS:

From a graphical standpoint, the Wii version could do a lot better in that department. Obviously, I didn't expect it to be on par with games The Conduit, Metroid Pr...ime 3, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl since it's a game based on a Saturday morning show that isn't super popular, but to be quite honest, it looks like a Dreamcast/early PS2 game. It should be at least up to GameCube standards.

Gameplay wise, I'm definitely in for it. Nice to see that it's a step-up from the Ryuki game with both fighting game and beat 'em up elements. I hope there's a story mode.

After all, gameplay and story are more important than graphics.

Devolpment costs are much higher, and the age demographic is much older. If you want younger audiences/under-20s, the Nintendo consoles are your best option.

the only way to get it on PS3 is write to the company that is doing it or see if some one eles can do it like help that company out.

why is it not coming out for PS3 or X box?

The Wii and the DS are the best selling systems right now and since they want Kamen Rider to gain a lot of exposure in America, they go for the systems that make the most money. Plus the development costs are much higher on the HD systems.
