Kamen Rider Dragon Knight is NOT Cancelled?

http://www.gaijinside.com/official-update-on-kamen-rider-dragon-knight/

“On behalf of Kamen Rider Dragon Knight and
Adness Entertainment, I wanted to personally thank all the fans for the
tremendous outpouring of support we have received for the show.

Kamen Rider Dragon Knight is, as of now, scheduled to
air through December 26, 2009. The broadcaster has the option of taking a break
from the series to make way for any special programming they may have planned
for January 2010. We want to assure our fans that the channel is free to bring
back Kamen Rider and continue to air the series at any time.

After December 26th, the last two episodes of the
series will be available for online viewing on the 4Kids website.

Again, thank you for watching and for your support.”

I hope this is true.

So, it's not getting cancelled? Sounds like good news to me!

reply

The show's still canceled, dude.

reply

Yea, sadly is the nice way of saying it got canceled but they can re-run the series and its final two episodes whenever the CW wants but that it's ending indefinitely on the 26th. Stupid move for 4Kids and CW though, with only two episodes left they should have just aired the last two episodes instead of just throwing them online. Bad business if you ask me...

DOLLHOUSE: The Final Episodes Starting DECEMBER 4th

It's just pathetic because you know it's going to be replaced by something like reruns of Sonic X, or Kirby, or something kid's have already seen. I just don't see how 4Kids going to be able to survive at all with all of these poor decisions. (it just seems like each time they scale back, they are forced to scale back some more)

I'm hoping cartoon network or disney XD takes the series from them and they do decide to continue it because it's rather surprising (but not) of them to pull it.

reply

Maybe Adness will be taking Kamen Rider somewhere else. CW4Kids was just airing the episodes, they do not in the least own Kamen Rider.

would be cool if we got a us version of one of the other Hensai era rider series mostlikly they'd just start w W and follow em a year behind from no on line they (till this next year coming up) did with power rangers/Sentai

reply

What the frak? So they're just...not airing the last two episodes?!?

Geez, it's such a good series.

I just love it, Power Rangers is canceled after one of it's best seasons, and then while I didn't expect this to necessarily get another season, I at least expected them to AIR THE EPISODES THEY HAD. And really...just two left? Geez, like the CW doesn't have some time to fill? They've aired new ones during prime time, they could just do that even.

reply

You can see the final episodes online thank goodness, 4Kids still has a major tumor lodged in its corporate heads though.

They started showing a hilarious re-edit of the first season of power rangers, but the way they put it, it seems like they aren't planning on completely ending the series. Hopefully that is popular enough for them to continue on in the next season after with some new content. Power Rangers, still feels kind-of iconic, even in the US.

you can not trust Net works anymore know what i mean? All they care about is aring dumb Reality shows. we want Script shows action shows. They killed off Bionic woman after what 14 episodes they killed Terminator after 2 seasons and killed Knight Rider thinks to Gary Scott Tompson. Gee i have no i dea were these pepole went to school to let a Network work for them or to run it. I made a post omn here about how cancilation is not the answer. And even the ratings are cool and Mieda saids the show is good they still kill it like aww lets cancel it. all this show is getting good lets cancel it...
