I thought that Chris Brown was one of the best modern day artists singing This Christmas. What'cha guys think about him singing This Christmas?

I like the Chris Brown verison. But for me nothing can beat Donny Hathaway

His version was just like most of his songs. Very bubblegum-like.
First of all, he doesn't have the voice strength for the song.
And secondly, the song is not appropriate for church.

If I had to choose between "This Christmas" and "Pistol Packin' Mama" -- I would rather hear "This Christmas" in church.

He sucked singing it! It was very annoying to listen to him.

Wha'? You can't compare a then 17-18 year old with Donny Hathaway. That is the definition of crazy. Now if it is asked, for such a young guy, how well did Chris Brown do? I would then say, he did a good job. He sounds better than I do at 29+ and I sing in a choir! LOL.
