There's one thing that makes me mad..............

In reality, that made sense because that way more people would want to rent or buy the dvd since it's the holiday season again. It probably wouldn't get too much interest in like April or August.
shareIt was the same with last year's FRED CLAUS, THE PERFECT HOLIDAY, and NOELLE all released in November and CHRISTMAS IN WONDERLAND which incredibly won't be released until the Tuesday before Christmas.
It was also the same in the past with every Christmas movie I know of with the exceptions of BAD SANTA and THE NATIVITY STORY.
And it probably will be the same with FOUR CHRISTMASES...don't expect it to be released before October or November next year.

They did the same with Elf too. It seemed like years before they put Elf on dvd. Because honestly, who buy's Christmas movies in the middle of spring or summer. They do the same with horror movies too, usually not releasing them until September and October.
shareInteresting, I never noticed that with horror movies. I did catch on to the delayed release of Christma movies about two years ago when even UNACCOMPANIED MINORS had a delayed release.

My best friend is one of those who would buy a Christmas movie in the middle of Summer. She starts listening to Christmas music starting in July through the end of January. Haha
