Sequel

I wonder if they should make a sequel to this?

reply

If they haven't already, they probably won't...I don't know how many people would go to see a sequel now if Chris Brown were in it, due to his incident with Rihanna since then.

Friday made a sequel after five years. So, I owuld say after next year, if they don't have one they probably never weill.

After next year would still only be four years. But as I said earlier, since Chris Brown had the domestic dispute with Rihanna and so forth, I don't know if they would make a sequel to "This Christmas" and have him in it (though I think it would be stupid for the movie producers to hold that against him, seeing as he went to counseling and so forth because of the incident and he's on probation now). I'm not one to hold grudges against someone who didn't do something that personally affected me...but then again, I don't hold grudges against people. I never have. But we should just wait and see. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting though. I think in order to have a sequel to a movie, the original movie would have had to do a lot better than "This Christmas" did at the box office. I heard something about it only making like $37 million. I went to see it twice. But then again, I actually liked the movie.

Well the whole sitatuion wit Rihanna was her fault too. I heard she hit Chris Brown wieth her shoes or something first.

That could be true. I just think it's ridiculous for people to hate on celebrities they don't know. Like people were pissed at LeBron James when he made his "decision" to play for the Miami Heat after 7 years with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Then he came back a couple nights ago and helped his team run all over the Cavs.

OT: I wish people would stop putting Celebs on these unrealistic pedestals. They are human also. Not saying that what happened b/w Rihanna and chris wasn't bad but the fact that they hyped it up was crazy. While they were doing that there were women who aren't celebs out there getting beat up badly and murdered but no one listened or told there story's.

Anyhoo. I doubt there will be a sequel if they do it will probably be straight to dvd.

I agree that celebrities shouldn't be put up on such big pedestals. I know an NFL football player personally who used to play for the Cleveland Browns. In fact, he used to attend my church until his contract with the Browns was not renewed, and now he plays for another team. He gave our church a substantial amount of money so we could buy a church building that was being sold by the Roman Catholic church (our church is non-denominational and Protestant). Prior to that we were renting a storefront in our downtown area. I hope he comes to see the building that he helped buy one day, because even though he now lives in another city, he still has ties to our church. That same guy gave me and a bunch of other church members a bunch of frozen dinners that he had ordered in bulk, and I guess he had way more than he could eat. I got about 8 frozen dinners for free out of that deal, and they weren't skimpy meals either. Probably about 4 servings apiece.
