I absolutely love this song. Does anyone have a favorite version of it? I don't really have a favorite version, but i think that this girl does a REALLY good job on it. It's a shame that she's not famous because i would totally buy her version of the song.

I like the song too, but the first thing I noticed was the fact that he was singing it in a church on Christmas. It struck me as odd, because that's a secular Christmas song. I can't imagine there were any verses of "This Christmas" to follow along with in the hymnals.
shareMost predominantly black churches don't have hymnals. I won't say all because I went to a Pentecostal Church of Christ back about 15 years ago in Cleveland, OH that used hymnals. But they also sang contemporary Christian music (which was originally recorded by African American gospel singers) in their church as well.
