Boring? check. Bad acting? check. Lacking realism? check. The only thing positives about this movie are 1) the scenery was nice and 2) the lead actor did a tolerable job in his role. One of the worst movies I've seen in a long, long time.
sharei have to agree with this....the lead actress playing Sappho was truly terrible. The other female actress with her over the top accent made me cringe. Truly a terrible film!
shareI don't think this was intending to compete with "The English Patient". I found it funny, especially Sappho's anachronistic accent, but well-photographed.
shareOne more positive, the girls were naked a lot and beautiful to look at. Gorgeous bodies in the warm sun. It delivered on that account.
