this special certainitly made me miss steve. i guess on a positive note- terry and bindy seem to be doing well and surviving the ordeal.
oh and p.s.- phillipe cousteau really was quite annoying. just something about him made me feel like he had no clue as to what was going on
Notice, Terri does not narrate this as she usually would when Steve does his shows. I think this is what made me think that Phillipe was annoying, cause I'm so used to hearing Terri explain everything not his guy.
sharePersonally it was a nice change to have Phillipe narrate. Besides it wasn't supposed to be like the regular show...even before Steve's accident.

I miss Steve as well.
For this show, I especially missed Steve whenever he was absent from one of the segments. Whether or not Steve was actually 'back on land setting croc traps,' as Cousteau at one point explains, is not really important, but his absence definitely resonates a deep sense of sadness and loss.
Steve... you're the father, son, and brother we all wish we had. We will miss you terribly.
Terri, keep strong. You are very much loved from people all over the world.
Bindi, protect your mom as (I'm sure) you continue to protect wildlife, and tell your brother, Bob, what a great dad he had.
You could clearly see the date on like a chalkboard in one clip where Steve was supposed back on land...it was after Steve died.
