Wreckless, Careless and Dangerous.....

I watched this documentary with morbid curiosity....

First off RIP Steve Irwin, he was undoubtably a knowledgable and highly skilled entertainer.

I watched in utter amazement though, at how reckless Irwin and the Cousteau relative (related in name not spirit to Jacques) proceeded with presenting us the Ocean's Deadliest.

The Stonefish segment made me wince so many times, the handling and similated stinging by stepping really made me worry. Irwin was a master on the land - that was his element...in the water, he is vulnerable. The way Irwin handled the sea snake as well was highly dangerous.

I can only speculate on what happened during the fatal Stingray segment, but I saw a couple of instances where he could have easily gotten stung or bitten.
