Who else was shocked when...

Jenny was killed in the game? i never read the comics until after i finished the game, so i didnt know what to expect really. when jimmy the grape (i think that's who he was) told me that some guy whacked him from behind and kidnapped jenny, i thought, "These guys seriously have no idea what kind of sh!tstorm i'm about to bring on them." So i go to the orphanage and i go through some rooms, and all of a sudden the darkness takes control and hold jackie against his will to watch jenny being contstrained by his dear old uncle paulie. i was confused at first as to why the darkness would'nt let jackie do his thing, but i think it wanted to sever any ties he had with anyone to make him into a real monster. So i'm still watching and i'm thinking, "Well you're not gonna kill her cus i'm gonna unleash hell on you before you get the chance." That's when paulie shoots jenny in the face, and i must say i was surprised. Hell, even then i was thinking that she's gonna survive, i'm gonna end up taking her to a hospital, and i'm gonna savagely murder paulie and shrote. So jackie scares of paulie and shrote and the darkness lets it's grasp of jackie go. He walks up to jenny and holds her dead limp body in her hand, and i'm still like, Whatever man, she's still alive, just take her to a hospital. He kills himself, and while in the Otherworld, i'm thinking "Maybe she is dead? Nah, she's alive, when I get back she'll be there." So I get back, and it's a mission I think when i give shrote the briefcase and i'm just walking around the cemetary and I see her grave. I'm like, "Oh sh!t, she really is dead." So maybe I was a bit too optimistic about jenny's fate, but for me that's a cliche, for the heroe's loved one to make it alive. Sorry if i made this too long, but i felt i kind of had to explain why i was shocked, I was apparrently an optimist.

Yup, I was totally shocked too. I adore this game, it's probably my favourite ever, & I'll never forget finally completing it at 3am one night in 2010 & watching the final scene with Jenny in the park, I came over quite emotional to be honest :)

Might sound a bit daft but if a movie can touch your heart then I don't see why a game of this quality can't too.

She was shot in the head with a huge gun...how on earth did you think she'd live through having the back of her skull caved in?
