The Huntington-USC Institute on California and the West urges you to
please save the date -- August 3 and 4, 2007 -- for the upcoming
"Rocket Science and Region: The Rise, Fall, and Rise of the
Aerospace Industry in Southern California," featuring some of the pioneers of the
aerospace industry from the Cold War era, as well as contemporary military officers
in charge of various regional aerospace facilities in Southern California and
social and cultural commentators on the aerospace community of workers,
suburbs, and folkways.

Panelists include: Thomas V. Jones, Allen Puckett, Allan
Boardman, M.G. Lord, and D.J. Waldie.
