Taken vs John Wick

both 1st films were initially viewed as almost a stdvd thing while in production and both Neeson & Reeves didn't expect much but both became abit of a phenomenon which led to sequels that got bigger and bigger at the box office..(although Wick part 3 was biggest and its getting a 4th, whereas Taken 2 was biggest and no part 4 planned... yet 😃)

but which had the biggest impact.. the 1st Taken or Wick? I guess Taken was alot bigger at the box office due to the insane word of mouth and that telephone speech is still quoted alot and is still pretty iconic .. whereas Wick 1 was like a stdvd thing almost
