No, it was released to cinemas I believe last fall. It came around my area to about one theater, for about a week.

Lucky you that it came to one of your movie theaters where you live at. It did not come to any of the movie theaters where I live at and I was looking forward to watching it too to be honest with you.

This was released in theaters because I remember watching the trailor for this film in commercials. The problem is where I live at which is Central Illinois they never even brought it to the movie theatre where I lived at. That really pissed me off because I was wanting to go see it.

Where I live at it sucks and that is Decatur, Illinois!

I live outside of Boston and within about 20 miles there must be 20-25 theaters that get most movies that are widely released. The problem is a lot of movies are only released for a short while to see how they will do in "select cinemas". So in other words the movie might be released in Portland, Green Bay, and Albany but nowhere else, lol. I think they did that with a few movies from Lionsgate when they were "changing philosophy" in new releases. "Midnight Meat Train" was torpedoed by the management because they didn't like the people that made the movie and were pushing "The Strangers" instead. It was actually a decent movie and Lionsgate probably cut off their nose to spite their face.

That is something that I do not like that they only release some of these movies in certain areas. Well when I still lived up in Kenosha, Wisconsin I read the Chicago Tribune a lot due to me being a Chicago Bears fan. When I would look at the section about going out to the movies my eyes were caught about a review on Zombie Strippers. I love a good B movie and it had Robert Englund in the film. The only problem is that it was only being shown at Barrington, Illinois. So I drove over an hour to go see Zombie Strippers and I loved it! None of the movie theaters in Milwaukee was showing Zombie Strippers at all. When it came out on DVD I bought myself a copy of it because it was that good. Robert Englund cracked me up playing his character in the film.

It was released on December 4th 2009 and had a release in 1,007 theaters. I actually remember seeing a trailer for it when I went to see Cirque Du Freak: The Vampries Assisstant But, the movie flopped terribly and came #21 opening weekend with only $397,641. Most theaters dropped it after a week and by the end of it's second week all theaters had dropped it.

I scored a screener pass a week before it originally opened...couldn't make it, but it did show up to theaters...it was just removed almost as soon almost it was put in theaters.
