Woman repeatedly punched in the face ... sick.

can someone, other than the sicko who gets off on this, justify
this cr*p

reply

Men are constantly punched in the face repeatedly. Justify.

reply

Well ...... if it needs explaining ....

can I presume that you are one of the
sickos who gets off on this then

reply

No, I don't get off on violence but why do you think violence towards women is any worse than violence towards men. Aren't men and women equal?

reply

wow, that's officially the best come back I've heard in quite along time on any type of serious subject, kudos to you thrash maniac

reply

The adherence to the populist belief that "all men are created equal"
is a classic misnomer derived from the Declaration of Independence, and as
such bears no meaning for those born and educated outwith the
good ol' USA, especially those with a capacity for rational thought.

To suggest that any two people are "equal" is absurd, particularly in the USA,
where race, gender, socio-economic status etc serve to fragment society and
define the hoi polloi as infinately varied.

So, no, I do not think men and woman are equal, and the suggestion that violence
against woman is worse than that against men is not implied in the original comment

reply

So you believe that its okay to hurt certain people because they're different?

reply

Well, apart from having difficulty trying to keep up with
where you derive such inane questions, I think it would be
good to see a response from you that displays your own
considerations on the subject.

reply

I don't complain about men getting punched in the face so I'm not going to complain about women getting punched in the face. And another thing, it's a *beep* movie!

reply

And also, why don't you think every one is equal. What do you think makes some people better than others?

reply

To suggest that no two people are "equal" does not implie
that there be any degree of superiority or inferiority.

How best to set the determining criteria for such a contest ?

Vivre La Différence !

reply

So what do you think "equal" means?

reply

How tiresome you are ... try reading a book or two and we will
continue with this when you are somewhat more evolved.

reply

Oh my God, you are so intelligent. You are so much better than me. How did you know I've never read a book?

How about you answer my f!cking question dipsh!t.

reply

.... and so speaks the child.

It seems your path to evolvolution may be a rocky road indeed.

How about you grow up, little boy.

reply

What makes you so much better than me old man?

reply

..... so you infer that I am "so much better" than you.

Thanks for that, I'll take it as a compliment.

But then, for you to come to such a conclusion surely
makes your notion of equality superfluous.

Since you are clearly experiencing low self-esteem
my advice to you would be ... seek professional help.

reply

.... and so speaks the child.

It seems your path to evolvolution may be a rocky road indeed.

How about you grow up, little boy.

Are you too stupid to realize what your words mean? You refer to me as a child and as not being evolved. These are very condescending statements trying to make yourself feel better. Obviously you are the one with very low self esteem. Your life is so pathetic that you have to come onto internet forums and make fun of people to make yourself feel better. Your life must be absolutely miserable and I pity you for that.

reply

... still waiting for a rational response from you in relation to
my original comment.

Video store clerk by day / thrashmaniac by night ... such a cliche, dude.
The stuff of fantasy of the pubescent boy ... wears a bit thin at 21.

Curious about the name, is that "thrash" .... the music
or "thrash" .... with a box of tissues

reply

Your original question was irrational.

reply

Well, perhaps you could elucidate on what was irrational about it.

"can someone, other than the sicko who gets off on this, justify this cr*p"

Seems fairly straightforward, but evidently, all that thrashing about you do
has no doubt made much in life rather unclear for you.

reply

You're assuming people watch this to masturbate.

And then you imply that I masturbate to it because I don't think the sex of a person should have any effect on severity of the act.

reply

Certainly, there will be those who "enjoy" such graphic portrayals of violence in their own prefered manner.

"And then you imply that I masturbate to it because I don't think the sex of a person should have any effect on severity of the act."

Sorry, but I just don't know where you got that from.

Patrick, I think you have some serious issues with women, as evidenced in this charming quote:

"Yes, this movie portrays reality. Don't have sex with American women, there vag holes will bite your d!ck off."
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0780622/board/thread/104668475?d=105368898 &p=1#105368898

Seemingly, you wish to expound the notion that women should be feared
and are deserving of the full force of violent male behaviours.

reply

Are you so stupid that you actually think that I was serious with such an inane comment? People were being too serious on that board thinking that the movie was some how about the way Americans explain human sexuality to kids.

And where did I say anything about violence towards women?

reply

Having read through the previous comments on that board,
I am at a loss to see where you derive such concern at
the level of "serious" comments.

In fact, there is a level of underlying humour, which
presumably you missed entirely.
Well done for butting in with your vulgar juvenille
thoughts .... you managed to end that discussion promptly.

I initially asked if someone could justify a particularly
graphic scene of violence towards a woman, and your response:

"Men are constantly punched in the face repeatedly."

Ergo, you are in fact saying something about violence towards women.

Tell me, what are your thoughts on Quentin Tarantino ?

reply

I am not saying anything about violence towards women by saying that men are constantlt punched in the face repeatedly, there's no difference and I think Tarantino is an okay director but he needs to stop making the same movie over and over.

reply

And about the movie Teeth, this is what the original poster said.

I thought this movie was a rather interesting view on how US teenagers deal with sexuality

That is not how U.S. teenagers deal with sexuality. It's pretty ignorant to even think that. It's just a movie.

lol you really are a total nob. You think your fancy words are gonna win this fight, yet I have given up trying to find your answer to the question the other guy asked. You can watch a man being punched repeatedly, but you can't watch a woman being punched repeatedly. Fair enough. But you said we are not equal. That means someone is better and someone is worse. You dropped a bo11ock, so answer the question or admit defeat

Oh btw I know you will call me a child for talking like a normal person, but I don't care.

I wish I was on this board eight years ago when this thread took place.

You never should have gave this little f@g the satisfaction of your time. That's all he wanted; some interaction with someone online because he has no friends in the real world.

Nobody who posts as pretentiously as he does could possibly have a single friend. He's one of those loser trolls portrayed on South Park.

reply

Do you talk like this in person? God, what a douche bag if you do. Pretty sure I'd beat you up within five seconds of conversation.

reply

It doesn't need justification, Baz-ish.

reply

What a silly conversation. This movie is just for fun. We all know the violence in this movie is fake, no one could possibly get of knowing that. The woman being punched in the face is the director's wife, if she thought that it is sick to punch women (on screen) she would not have participated in this. No need to argue about violence on screen, because its FAKE.
If someone still gets off with this, then this guy is the sicko, not the movie, I'm sure a guy like that was a sicko long before he even ever watched Bambi's mother being shot by hunters.
So stop complaining about violence in movies (towards women or else): watch comedies or visit a museum, but don't bother people who liked this film (like me, yes mister).
We have done nothing wrong, neither did Olaf Ittenbach, he's just entertaining people.
Peace people!

I understand that some may be sensitive to a woman is being punched in the face. Even once. I personally don’t like to see any violence outside of film, but in that world (of film) anything goes. I don’t get off on it, I don’t condone it, but it is all make believe. But help me to see this straight, all of the other violence was OK in your mind? Most importantly, this scene bothered you, but not the one with a kid being sliced in half by a industrial sized slicing apparatus? Your priorities (like so many I come across) are bass ackwards. I’m surprised non one said anything about the dog. A lot of you are overly sensitive about animals, more so than actual humans. And no I do not condone animal violence either, again it is a movie. I like animals more than most people.

reply

To suggest that your average run of the mill horror fan "gets off" or gains sexual gratification from horror violence in the first place is absurd.

And after (unfortunately) reading the rest of this thread it becomes clear you are a moral high-grounder troll of the highest order.

If you don't like this type of material simply don't expose yourself to it, don't get all high and mighty and attack innocent horror fans and make grossley false and embarrasingly ill informed accusations.
