'how could you put your life on hold for 7 months'

Did anyone else get annoyed by the opening line by the wife? She claimed someone asked her that re:this show. First, they are about to travel the world, particularly beautiful places that people would dream to go to just 1 of these places. 2nd, EVERYTHING IS PAID FOR, wtf. This is like asking someone how could they accept 50 million dollars in the lottery. Id put my life on hold for at least 5 years if I had a chance to travel the world, expenses paid. And someone asked about 7 months. What were they going to do in those 7 months? cure cancer? walk the moon? have 10 kids?
