USA Network direction

Was thinking about this show in light of the Burn Notice finale and some other shows currently running on USA. They've broadened the kinds of shows they're running from breezy entertainment to darker material which I find ironic considering they got rid of Maples as showrunner because they felt the show was going in too dark a direction. If the show were being made now, it looks like he would have been allowed to make the show he wanted to make. I don't know if that would have fared better ratings-wise, but I would like to have seen where he was going with it.

I agree with your comments. I think it would have been a better show and maybe even still on. I don't think the show ever recovered from changing it and dropping Maples.

I tend to agree. Still miss it and I'm disappointed we now have neither MM nor FW as series leads on anything at all. Hope they're happy with their other work these days.
