I don't know that I would want to talk to someone who killed my kid


Even by accident. It would be to hard. I think Kidmans character was brave for that. I also can understand Eckharts anger at the kid waltzing in the house, which I found odd.

Hopefully we'll never have to know. As for thee characters, it seemed to be therapeutic for both of them.

I loved how the movie didn't have the typical cliche of the parents hating the kid. It was refreshing to see kidmans character understand that this was very hard on the young teen as well. This movie was extremely realistic and dealth with beautifully

It would be very unusual, but that was one of the points of the movie.

I knew Aziz Khamisa tangentially because he was very good friends with a friend of mine who missed a get-together we had planned because of comforting his friend and helping him make arrangements for the funeral. I heard about the whole foundation as it unfolded. Amazing.

I think it was a unique situation because she didn't have any other children to take care of. Her mundane daily schedule allowed her to go to unusual places in her healing process.
