if there is any question on whether the show is chinese or japanese, just listen to the very beginning, kai lan says "ni hao, that how i say hi in chinese"
p.s. beginning of red dawn where you see them parachute down = creeeeeeepy!

"We are now the knights who say---Ekki ekki ekki ekki Ptang! Zoom Boing Z'nourrwringmmm!"

There are definitely communist and collectivist themes present. I just saw a segment with ants (red ants no less) and "they all know their job and their purpose" and if "one gets out of line then none of them can do their jobs" It was kinda creepy.

thats reading too much into it, thats how ants are, they all stay in line, it isnt a metaphor for communism

riiiiight, because a children's tv show about the chinese is really interested in "ants."
