Jonah/Ms. Wheatley

I just finished the series and at first I felt bad for Mrs. Wheatley for having to put up with all of Jonah's antics, but after he came back from suspension I feel like she was the one who went over the top when he hadn't really done anything. It was his friend talking to him, who he was trying to get to be quiet and she snapped, and totally went overboard. Especially with how she mocked him for not being able to read. I thought that scene was really well done, and did a great job at it's purpose... It made me feel uncomfortable. I thought towards the end Jonah's storyline was the only real one, especially for a show like this. It was well done and Chris Lilley showed so much range with that. I even felt bad for Jonah at the end.

I agree. Ms. Wheatley obviously made up the part about Jonah threatening her in order to get him kicked out.

It was not made up. If someone says to you - and I'm paraphrasing here - "don't f--k with me or you'll regret it", that's a veiled threat.

That's the crux of the show. All the characters start out as hilarious pieces of crap, but then you get the real, emotional core of them later. You laugh and then in the span of a couple episodes you pity them.

Plus with Jonah's story at least you see the lesson. There's only so far you can push things before someone snaps. The teacher just couldn't take it anymore, and you can't really blame here even though she's in the wrong.
