There's no denying that this film was crappy and unoriginal. It was a total cross between The Blair Witch Project, House of 1000 Corpses, The Last Exorcism, and Timber Falls.

That aside, it was entertaining enough, although I felt no sympathy whatsoever for the main characters. They spent nearly the entire movie vandalizing property and harassing locals, two actions I personally find abhorrent. Due to this, I felt no remorse at all when they were killed.

If you go into this movie expecting a blockbuster you will be sorely disappointed, but if you treat it for what it is - a creepy C-movie - then it's not too bad.

The Last Exorcism? .... Timber Falls? Did you just pick the only other horror movies you've ever seen and list them in the off chance it looked like you knew what you were talking about? Not to mention, this film was made two full years before Last Exorcism was released.

I've seen a lot of horror movies, actually. Horror is my favorite genre. I was comparing this film to some others. When they were made is of no importance. I was merely pointing out similarities. What's your point?

Well, besides the fact that I don't see similarities between this and most of the films you mentioned... My point is that you accuse this film of being "unoriginal" and then compare it to a movie that was made and released after it already existed. Does that make sense to you?

When they were made IS of importance. The people who made this move did not say "We should rip off a movie which hasn't even been made yet"
One cannot say that a film released in 2008 ripped off a movie not released until 2011. If anything, the movie released in 2011 ripped off the movie released in 2008.

By the way, I rewatched this yesterday, and still stand by my 6/ 10 rating.
