I Actually Really Enjoyed This Movie

Even though it was like...crap. I found it very entertaining.

I never had any friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

I'm with you, Fallout, I can't understand why I liked it (besides the fact that the around-town bits made me feel nostalgic for the easy, unencumbered mindset of High School). But I did. I'm sure people would bash me for liking Video X, too, but I thought that was a cool movie (in much the same vein as this, with the story being told on the videotape of the protagonists). I guess I can relate to the story trying to be told, and why the filmakers wanted to tell it. Ah, who knows?

I've got two good posts in me and I just wrote my third...

wasn't great, but definitely not a 3.1

The wife and I just finished watching it. We both really liked it, and I think its due to the fact that we went into it with exceptionally low expectations. It delivered more than I expected and thats good enough for me.

Insert funny or pretentious signature here...

Same. Went in with really low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. The ending could've been a bit...I don't know. But all in all I gave it a 6/10.

I agree. I had some issues but I actually though the young cast were great for the most part. All and all, not bad. I actually got nervous.

Went into it not knowing what to expect and ended up being thoroughly creeped out and entertained. The cast actually had me believing that they were average (although somewhat obnoxious like most) kids and not a bunch of actors mugging for the camera.

When the end showed up it was abrupt and startling but I did feel like the creepy build-up payed off for once.

Agreed. I loved this movie and just loved the extra twist at the end!
