The Annoying Poor Women...

Did this happen to anyone else? And if so, were you as surprised as I was?
So I was just walking around in the streets and the really annoying woman comes up pestering me for "just a few coins, sir" and I couldn't get rid of her. So out of desperation, I just started climbing the nearest building... and she starts thowing rocks at me!!! My indicator isn't even red so I know it wasn't the guards... anyway, a rock hits me and I fall and the moment I fall, she takes off running....

Did this happen to anyone else? It was so weird!

Yeah, that just happened to me. Those annoying bitches always block my way when I'm trying to pick pocket or stalk. I usually just stab them.

Oh she's more than annoying! But yes, that has happened to me and what's worse is if there is a guard you land on and that turns the indicator red and they start after you... but of course it's fun whichever you choose (running away or fighting).

But sometimes... that poor woman will frustrate me so much that... I better not say anymore, she's supposed to be an innocent citizen. I'll just say that what happens to her is what happens to the even more aggravating man that can't keep his hands to himself - I hate it when he pushes me around for no reason and I get pushed in a guard and the chase is on again.

You're right, this game is awesome! I can't for AC2. ;)

I just punch her and she runs away. That's the best way if you're trying not to attract too much attention since the guards don't get involved if fist fights. When I don't care about the attention, I just kill her.

How's this for annoying beggars?: The 2nd time I go to try to kill Tamir (1st time the game froze) and as soon as the assassination process starts, the dumb bitch starts screaming at me for change. She blew my cover and I had to start all over again.

I just shoved their asses until I got the Enemy Of The Poor achievement. Now I just shank 'em.

Grab and throw them into a merchant stand enough times to unlock the achievement.

init ur right, the old woman is proper annoying!!!! the best way of getting rid of her is... when she is near u asking u for coins, what i usually do is pull out my sword and she runs away. after that she wont return back unless its another sh!tty old woman.

Just withdraw your weapon. They will usually run away afterwards...

I usually just smack them in the face. It gives an almost guilty pleasure, and when i feel like it, i kick their ass until they are flat on the ground.. Instant satisfaction at no wanted level ;)

Shoulder barging them works quite well. As does a quick smack round the head. Throwing them into a wall is good. But these all attract attention, not from guards but from other citizens who have started fights with me as a result.

It would be good if you could actually toss coins on the floor. That way you could see them coming and throw coins on the floor to distract them whilst you carry on blending...

I hate the beggars with a passion.....but I was happy to find out that there's an achievement to be had if you grab and throw 25 of them.

if i ever see one of the beggar ladies running towards me i just shank em and keep walking, nobody notices until you're far enough away. At first I felt bad but then when i was trying to follow someone and she kept running around me screaming at me i finally just got really annoyed.

Just throw them with B. theres an acievement for throwing them 25times, only 5Pts but meh...!

i think i found a glitch, i was free running on a roof and a freaking beggar came at me on a roof atleast 3 stories tall... i threw her off of a roof and i continues climing (eagle spot) dang guards got me

but yeah normally i just prison shank em

dude i hated the drunk/retarded people. Everytime I would blend a random crazy would hit me and blow my cover. Bastards. lol

haha thats usually what i do i get so mad with them i either throw them or just punch them in the face if im pissed off about repeating a mission or something. its really annoying, im kinda mad they put that into the game, its really the only thing that annoys me. although it gets old when ur indicator starts goin red when u feel like u didnt do anything wrong... at least that has happened to me but then again i dont have the best patience needed for this sort of game, even though i love it.

LOL I know they get on my nerves, I tried to be gentle a few times but then I started to grab them and throw them to the floor (especially when I was in a hurry) but that has a negative effect on my.. u know the bar in the HUD that shows your health.

Whenever the stupid b!tc# comes up to me an whines about being poor, sick, and hungry, I just stealth assassinate her and say, "There. Problem solved. Ya happy?". Lol.
