The main actress in this movie was horrible in Automaton Transfusion. Unless she took some acting classes, how the hell is she going to carry this thing? Ehhh...it'll probably suck anyway and no one will ever see it.

reply

You'll be surprised..she does carry it. and is supported by a great cast.

Just watch it when it comes out if you wish, shut the funk up and have a coke and a smile.

Thank you.

Uh, okay, so I watched the film, and well... I just didn't get it. I mean, I got the whole premise (which I won't post because of spoilers), and I did UNDERSTAND what happened -- but seriously, some closure would've been nice. It is still far ahead than other Honduran productions (which unfortunately, isn't saying much), but I think there's no excuse for this abrupt -- and rather ambiguous -- ending.

I agree that the main actress is hot, but unfortunately, her looks were not enough to carry it through the rest of the film. The rest of the actors were also decent, but in most instances they were not believable enough. I think the actor that plays Barry was good, but the rest were just, well... there.

All in all, the movie's biggest downfall is its script -- or lack thereof. It had a great premise, huge expectations, but the production values were not enough to live up to them. The editing wasn't all that good, the pacing was all over the place, and the script needed some work. I think the whole "Twin Connection" theme was a great subject to expand upon, but in this movie -- at least the 2nd and 3rd act of it -- it just didn't work.

Kudos for the guys to finishing it, though, and let's hope their next work expands on the solid -- albeit underwhelming -- foundation that they created for Second Coming.

Or you could also hire me, hah! :P

Thank you so much for the well written review!,

I think you are completely wrong and way off the mark ( the Hondurian version of the film was mutilated, all nasty shocks taken out, parts of dialogue replaced, etc, and most importantly, the gore was greatly reduced).

B U T having said this, you should see it again when the actual real cut of the film is on DVD and then review it again. just a thought.

But thanks for the review.

Well that doesn't make any sense.

We've seen worse movies (in terms of gore and shock value), and I don't see a reason why they would cut it in order to reduce the gore. Will definitely give it a second chance when/if it hits on DVD, but as it stands, the whole pacing was just all over the place -- and was actually the main reason (apart from the script) why the movie wasn't as good as it could've been.

I saw the DVD version. I want my money back, it sucks the big one.
