Contrary to what your simple mind believes is news, many Natives are living below the poverty line. The money made from casinos doesn't go directly into the people's pockets, it's used for a variety resources like healthcare, shelter, etc. and NOT all tribes have casinos.
Before you blindly post articles like this, try visiting a real reservation like Pine Ridge, SD. The only "Billionaire Native Americans" are the Europeans who lied and murdered the American Indian and brought slaves over to America so they could get wealthy.
Well said brother. The thing that bothers me most when I hear Klu Klux Klan people rant isn't the racial slurs. It's when they claim that America is THEIR country, only THEY belong here, and that everyone else who isn't white should "go home". The only people that truly belong here and can claim America as theirs, are the Native Americans. It's truly sad how they were robbed and raped and murdered and forced to live on reservations. I wonder what this country would be like today if that would have never happened. I don't think it could be much worse.

America did not exist before Europeons, North America, South America, and the Islands like Cuba and Barbados were Natives. No natives are asking Castro for land, or demanding South America give them anything. Tribes fought each other, and had no established country. Borders of U.S. did not exist.

No, its a direct result of forcing people on crappy land. They were forcibly moved onto useless land and white settlers got the homestead act. They got land that was cleared of Native Americans and found oil,gold,etc.I'm guessing you heard of the trail of tears?If they found any resources on an Indian reservation. Then the Feds get the money and were suppose to pay them royalties but they managed that like they managed social security.

NO, it's a direct result of generations of being shoved off their lands to make way for new white settlers, dumped onto reservations and not always being allowed to do certain things to make a living for themselves, and the Bureau of Indian Affairs which, from what I've read about, a lot of Natives felt that it wasn't a great help to them at all.) Do the research, instead of using Native people as a reason to slam liberals. It had nothing to do with political party policies. I'm also tired of idiot right wingers like you always liberals for everything wrong in this country, when it was the Republicans who were basically responsible for the last big economic crash of 2008 in this country, and they didn't do jack s*** to stop it from happening. Thats true. I remember they were suing the Feds for billions because they stole a bunch of Native American money. The government forced them to put profits from casinos and other businesses into funds and they looted it like the social security fund.

either way it's an addicting movie. Yeah I suppose if your catholic you might not like this movie but then again you'd have to deny history to do that. Most of them are running on the old testament. which is just a history book when the new one came out. Jesus doesn't force his religion on others.

My point: Native casinos have to pay all their earnings to the BIA AKA Washington DC, they have to petition to get a lot of that money back, after it's funneled through bureaucrats fingers, it rarely makes it to the actual people who only get it through half-ass social programs. I've lived on a reservation and don't see many Rolls Royce's driving around. "Billionaire Natives" is just a myth.
