52 Start American Flag In A World War II Movie!!!??

Zero budget indeed! Seems they could not even dole out enough cash to get a period American flag. In the "interrogation" scene there's an American flag behind the officer's desk. It is the 50 star array which, as we all know, was not part of the flag until 1959! Unreal!

Actually, anyone who's taken even an entry-level history or political science class can tell you the 52-Star flag was not adopted until 2021, when Puerto Rico finally applied for statehood.

52? There has never been a 52 star flag, It was actually a 49 star, 7 rows of 7. Still not correct, but not a 52 star flag.

May I have clarification on a 52 "start"? Is that Nascar? In addition, the flag now has 50 stars, and I remember when Alaska and Hawaii were added. The flag has never had 52 stars and be authentic. Perhaps when Puerto Rico and the USVI become states, not now.

The stupid factor just reached the unreal level.

This thread is almost as humorous as the movie. The acting was wooden, no character development, the plot was thin... and you didn't even know who to cheer on in this thing.

BUT! 52 stars on the American Flag.... the original poster must have been on the crew of this movie. He fits right in...lol

reply

What I find amazing is the fact, that they must have gone out of their way to have a 52 star flag produced. What the hell is going on!

I can't even understand how stupid all you people are. Even Barrack Obama knows that there are 57 states. So back then in WWIII there must have been only 52. See? Everyone is attacking this movie and they went out of their way to be accurate as possible. Sheeessshhhh.
