It`s better than the 'Red Rose of Normandy'....

...but that isn`t really saying much.There are quite a few of these cheapie war flicks around,mostly with re-enactors with little or no acting talent running around woods firing at each other.Credit to the filmmakers who have clearly gone to great lengths to depict accurate costume and weaponry and some nice looking tanks(or panzers!)too!There`s a semblance of a nice idea here but a combination of bad acting and writing just kills the film stone dead.Scenes are often confused:characters such as the nurse and Gestapo just seem to turn up without any explanation;Muller doesn`t seem intrigued as to what the Brit is doing there etc. Clearly the editor didn`t really have a clue as scenes just fade to black when there`s a battle.A good effort with limited means but ultimately a mess.
