Saw it on DVD yesterday. Visually stunning, reminded me of old Technicolor films.
Wonderful feeling of place and time, the despair and feeling of entrapment. Not only was Isabelle Huppert brilliant but all the acting was first class.
Not a happy film, but a masterpiece in entwining the colonialists positions with the indiginous people. Recommended.
