Almost 10 years and still not on DVD

I mean, what the hell?

CG GORE IS THE WORST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO THE HORROR GENRE!

Yes it is. Here are three different versions:

I have no experience with any of these sites nor dvd versions but I believe it's save

I've ordered from YesAsia before, albeit a long time ago, and had no problems. A 2-disc Hong Kong Special Edition DVD of "Zu Warriors" IIRC :)

Looking at those listings, only the 1st and 3rd ones state that they have English subtitles. The middle one (JP premium edition) doesn't mention subtitles at all, so it may or may not have English subs.

Wish this film would get a domestic release. Watched it on YouTube (with English subs) a few years ago, and really enjoyed it. I check every so often for a UK or US disc, but no luck so far. Shame, because I'd buy it in a flash if some label would just release it. My only concern with buying an Asian DVD would be that the extras probably wouldn't be subtitled, and therefore inaccessible.

Memorable film, though. It captured the creepy vibe that I've enjoyed in Japanese horror videogames such as Fatal Frame (a.k.a. Project Zero) and Forbidden Siren. It was the cult / ritual aspect that I found interesting; all that weird knot-tying stuff. And that image at the end ... which I won't spoil ;)

The IMDb boards are shutting down. Check out my YouTube channel if you are interested in reviews of Asian horror films. I've covered over 500 of them already.

The first and third of your links are Region 3 and the second one, as far as I can see, doesn't mention a region. I assume what the OP was lamenting is the fact that there's not been a Region 1 or 2 release yet. A well-done Blu-Ray would also be nice, at this point.

There are region free dvd players ;)

DVDs of this can be very expensive if you are lucky enough to come across them in the first place. This documentary is really sinister. It might be good for anybody who likes Japanese horror. But don't expect masses of big hair all over the place.

I've just watched it on Shudder. I liked it.
The bit in the woods was creepy!
