Worst ending ever (spoilers)

Yeah, what a stupid ending. Let's all be cheerful and go home now, and the hunter/cryptozoologist guy can settle down there. Nevermind the ton of people that just died, including the other cop that was with them. Maybe we should go check on him? Oh, what are we going to tell that Italian exchange program, sorry, your student had her head bitten off by an ancient marine reptile? (reptile, not dinosaur, because Pliosaurs were not dinosaurs despite what the movie said). And the parents of the other teens that got eaten? Granted, though, the scene where the guy with the injured leg gets devoured right in front of the girl was good, although I was mainly thinking how she was once again single for Josh.

The best thing about the final scene was how the girl-in-distress started to snog with Josh right after Nessie got blown up, even though the remains of her boyfriend were scattered all over the place (and he had been torn apart just minutes earlier).

The funniest part of the movie is the scene where the deputy is shooting baby plesiosaurs with his scoped rifle, and the director insists of showing it through the gun's scope several times so that the audience can get a really good, long look at static rubber toy monster heads getting hit with firecrackers.

The sad thing about all of this is that Beyond Loch Ness is one of the better monster flicks from the past decade.
