'Monster: A Tale of Loch Ness' by Jeffrey Konvitz...

I don't see why Hollywood continues to produce straight to vid NESSIE crap like this when Jeffrey Konvitz wrote a perfectly filmable epic that was published in '82. I've read it two or three times, and I love it all the more each time I do so. Unlike Steve Altens, "The Loch" which I was EXTREMELY excited for, but will probably never get a second reading. Konvitz's novel would make a great long-form movie (3 hours) or maybe a nice 2 or 3 part mini-series on a cable channel that is willing to put the money into it. Since Konvitz has such strong ties to tinsel-town, I don't see why he hasn't pushed it in recent years. The technology now exists to film what he wrote. Jeffrey, are you reading this??? Thanks, CKB.
