Most hilarious moment in any film.

I wont regurgitate the same point as many other posts about how this should be on the IMDB Top 250.

Instead I just wanted to voice my appreciation of that hilarious moment where we see the young girl sitting still so that the monsters cannot see her. The "hero" and love interest then decides to throw a stone at her in order to wave at her and inform her to...stay where she is. Brilliant. If I were her I would have kicked him in the nuts.

Hahaha that's exactly what I thought when he threw that, like WTF was he thinking??? and that's just the director i mean!! But I admit I enjoyed this film a lot. It had a lot of cheesiness and didnt take itself that seriously, but it actually had some good action and suspense scenes. The best suspense involved the sonar radar on the boat with the data showing how far away the monster was. I guess it coulve maybe gone the very serious route if it had a much higher budget.

But back to the thread topic, the bit that made me laugh the most was a bit near the start where Murphy first walks into the bait shop, and they play that music while he's walking in. It seemed so contrived and out of place but funny because they used to do that all the time in 90s B horror movies.

Oh yeah, and the fight between Josh and Brody was a hoot. They both take fighter stances like we're gonna get down to a bit of JCVD or Jet Li, then when they engage they just give each other a kiddies headlock and he's like "weh, give me my keys back" hahah!

Was there actually a moment in this film that WASN'T hilarious?? If so, please tell me what it was...

The best WTF moment for me was when the girl was STILL crouching motionlessly watching the baby nessies eat her "boyfriend" and then mom came out of the pond...for crying out loud, why didn't she get the hell outta dodge when they were otherwise occupied BEFORE big momma came on the scene?

The icing on the cake is reading these posts...in answer to the question in belief of whether the LNM could still exist one response was:

"I see NO way "nessie" could have survived millions of years unchanged and inbreeding would have killed them off if any survived."

INBREEDING?? lmao ))

"A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds."

The stupid uncle trying to catch 'Nessie' with just a camera.
"Nice Nessie . . ."

and

"Is that Brodie?" "Must be." "Gross." Lol the cop dude.

And this one's for Space Step-Mom! YOU LIED TO HER!!!

That would be in the other Nessie movie Beneath Loch Ness when the guy says "we're dealing with an unknown species" and the other guy says "what kind of unknown species?".

I know this thread is a few years old but the movie was just on tv tonight and somehow caught my attention so I watched the last ¾'s. As cheesy as it was, I kinda like it. But hands down the funniest part for me was when Josh first got to the island and he's surrounded by the baby dinosaurs. With his best Clint Eastwood impersonation he puts up his 'dukes' and snarls "Let's Dance!"! LMAO!!!
