Fantastic film

Fantastic film, great acting. Emotional and very serious at times with a great mix of comedy and romance. Great ending with a surprising twist which i did not see coming.

Again the japs deliver the goods.

They were speaking Japanese so I don't see how this is a Korean movie (Im guessing the director was Korean? That doesn't make it a Korean movie, especially since it's set in Japan).

First of all, I have only seen a handful of eastern asian movies in my life, and those were hits here in the west (Crouching Tiger and Battle Royale come to mind), and this movie is easily my favorite of the few Ive seen. The story is unique, the chemistry between the main characters is amazing and the comedy is top notch. A marvelous romantic movie.

Also, the main actress is so insanely beautiful, I barely could take my eyes off of her. It's like I fell in love with her myself lol. I think she's especially beautiful considering I don't find asian women particularly attractive, so she was a very pleasant surprise.

By the way, is it just me or is sex and kissing on screen kind of taboo in Japan? Yeah there were a lot of jokes around sex but the kissing scene seemed very awkward, they could have done it much better, IMO that was one of the most important scenes of the movie.

I'm in Holland and I liked the movie too. It was a nice surprise, because I knew nothing upfront.
A nice blend of romance, comedy and fantasy. A good twist to the storyline too.
