Did anyone else think Lea Thompson was having a bad acting day??

Watched this the other night. Was ok,could have been shortened by about 20 minutes as it dragged on in the end, thought Anthony Michael Hall did a great job, and the others weren't bad, but Lea Thompson seemed to have one "deadpan" facial expression and one tone of voice. I just could not get into her character at all. Anyways, apologies if you are a fan, just had to get that off my chest :-)
