the girl with the dog

young, beautiful, hot girls always fall for average looking middle aged men,
in movies made by average looking middle aged men.

in your mind, reverse the genders and see if it makes sense.

The genders are different. A woman who wants to get married and have children needs to choose an experienced guy with an advanced career. Reverse the genders: what use is a sterile woman to a young guy? And generally older women have no interest in relationships with inexperienced and poor young men.

Why do men always make this argument? When women are that young, they certainly aren't racing to get married and have kids. Movies are ridiculous the way they always portray gorgeous young girls in relationships with old farts.

I'm 21, and old men (as in, over 30) are sooooo very icky. Whenever I get attention from one, I feel like puking. I would never, ever be in a relationship with one. Eew.

"Never, ever"? You better race to have kids because you don't have much time before you'll need to dump the geezer. Especially since you say that your "perfect man" would be in his late 20s. The woman here is 28 and running out of options. Since you consider 30 old, it shouldn't make much difference that she makes eyes at a guy in his 50s.

My perfect man is 24. He's my boyfriend, and I'd never consider dating anyone older than him. Haha. And how is 28 old enough to be running out of options, especially for a woman as stunning as the girl in the film? In real life she would have hundreds of guys after her. She would already have plenty of options, and so NO, she would not be making eyes at an old dude.
