Isabella Ferrari has recently stated that the sex scene between her and Moretti was unsimulated.

Yes, she's married to director Renato de Maria... maybe he allowed Moretti to have sex with his wife because Moretti's a director too...

On the other hand, it was american actress Chloe Sevigny who performed unsimulated fellatio on american actor Vincent Gallo in The brown bunny, who was neither her husband nor her boyfriend.

It's not about nationality. It's just about people.

I agree gspinoza that this is not about nationality although certain things are more accepted to some countries than in others.
About Sevigny. Vincent Gallo WAS her boyfriend!

edars99, Gallo HAS BEEN her boyfriend, but at the time they were not anymore. At that time she was engaged to Matt McAuley, a member of rock band "A.R.E. weapons".

Un momento. When an X pornostar performs oral sex, the act is pornographic. When Sevigny does exactly the same thing, the act is artistic. There is a substantial difference, don't you see it?

That's a weird interview. I can accept that some actors or filmmakers choose to have real sex in films, but I find it an idiotic thought that it would be necessary for authenticity/realness. I'm an actor (like many on the imdb board) and I wouldn't think about it. Acting to me is never real, it is playing with, and echoing reality..

Just watched the movie - it certainly didn't look like real sex - just a very typical mainstream sex scene without any genitalia or penetration in sight.

Somebody mentioned..............

My version was definitely not that ''obscene'' or lasted 4 minutes!!!
The most I saw was the guy's underwear swollen by his aroused part.

I think it is just a way for Mrs. Ferrari to try and undo what she did. Either it was real sex or it was not: it's too easy for her to say something and later deny it.
