Real sex

Isabella Ferrari has recently stated that the sex scene between her and Moretti was unsimulated.

Sorry, Italian only. Basically it says:

Isabella Ferrari: it was real sex with Nanni Moretti in Caos calmo

"The actress confirms that reality was respected and tells Gioia Magazine that that scene was real sex:'I'm for that kind of cinema, if something has to happen then it's right it happens. Faking it? Nanni would have never allowed it".

reply

Doesn't she have a husband?

reply

Yes, she's married to director Renato de Maria... maybe he allowed Moretti to have sex with his wife because Moretti's a director too...

reply

they are italian...

reply

I am Italian too, but I wouldn't allow such a thing. Don't be stupidly racist.

On the other hand, it was american actress Chloe Sevigny who performed unsimulated fellatio on american actor Vincent Gallo in The brown bunny, who was neither her husband nor her boyfriend.

It's not about nationality. It's just about people.

reply

Or maybe it's about being meshuggah.

reply

I agree gspinoza that this is not about nationality although certain things are more accepted to some countries than in others.
About Sevigny. Vincent Gallo WAS her boyfriend!

reply

edars99, Gallo HAS BEEN her boyfriend, but at the time they were not anymore. At that time she was engaged to Matt McAuley, a member of rock band "A.R.E. weapons".

Un momento. When an X pornostar performs oral sex, the act is pornographic. When Sevigny does exactly the same thing, the act is artistic. There is a substantial difference, don't you see it?

reply

they are italian...
and you obviously American. In the States such things never happen 😃

"L'attrice, che si prepara a partire da sola per la Scozia dove girerà un film tratto da un romanzo di Ken Follett, confessa inoltre: «È il periodo più bello della mia vita, perché ho scoperto la solitudine."

That's a weird interview. I can accept that some actors or filmmakers choose to have real sex in films, but I find it an idiotic thought that it would be necessary for authenticity/realness. I'm an actor (like many on the imdb board) and I wouldn't think about it. Acting to me is never real, it is playing with, and echoing reality..

Just watched the movie - it certainly didn't look like real sex - just a very typical mainstream sex scene without any genitalia or penetration in sight.

reply

Maybe there are different versions of the movie.
Somebody mentioned..............
''notorious sex scene between Nanni Moretti and Isabella Ferrari, branded as obscene by the Vatican, but I hope they understood that behind the four hot minutes there was a movie''.............
My version was definitely not that ''obscene'' or lasted 4 minutes!!!
The most I saw was the guy's underwear swollen by his aroused part.

I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together.

I think it is just a way for Mrs. Ferrari to try and undo what she did. Either it was real sex or it was not: it's too easy for her to say something and later deny it.

reply

I have seen only this http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x16ov1e_caos-calmo-sexy-clip-1-1-isabella-ferrari_shortfilms If somebody has seen anything else, let tell us. Otherwise, unsimulated sex was unnecessary.
