Did this movie remind anyone else of... (spoilers)

Sailor Moon?

No, I am being serious. The archangel girl reminds me of Sailor Moon, and Yi Gwak would be her Tuxedo Mask. He lets the sword stab him so that he doesn't have to fight her. And of course other women are in love with him, but they cannot stand up to the woman he already loves. The thing that most reminded me of SM though, was that she had a "holy crystal" in her body. In the same way that Sailor Moon has the legendary silver crystal inside her, and of course that is what all of the bad guys are trying to steal.

Great movie, I wish I hadn't missed the first hour but I think I will get it on DVD! :)
